Personal

I grew up in a small town in western New York. My father, a corporal in the U.S. marines, passed away unexpectedly when I was a small child. My mother used the financial assistance granted to her as a widow, including life insurance, to return to school and pursue a college degree.

After high school, I was blessed to get accepted into a highly respected university. It allowed me to set the stage for a career in the graphic arts industry. Upon graduation, I moved to the Washington, DC area, where I lived and worked for 3 years. In 1997, I moved to Dayton, Ohio, where I immediately felt "at home", as the midwest has more of that "small town" feel as I was used to as a kid.

These days, my wife Lori and I live in Xenia, Ohio, with our daughter, Emma. We are active members in our parish, St. Brigid . I have a passion for sports (I loved to play broomball and racquetball) and music (I play the acoustic guitar). I enjoy spending time with my friends and volunteering time in the community. I still return to western New York on a regular basis to see old friends and family, because I feel that staying close to one's roots is incredibly important.
